Esther Allen interviews Tejada on the subject of his poetry collection Full Foreground for Bomb Magazine in 2012. This conversation between two friends takes place in Mexico City, and presents a panorama of the country during the late 1980s and 1990s. Their discussion branches out to such topics such as the literary journal Mandorla, the vibrant art scene in Mexico City at the time, along with the neoliberal policies enacted in the region, and even Tejada’s experiences while at a dinner with Octavio Paz on the eve of the Zapatista uprisings in Chiapas.
