Family Resemblance in 1990s Mexico

Relating art stories and personal recollections, Tejada describes the innovative artists and alternative spaces that emerged in Mexico City’s historic center in the late twentieth century. A member of the artistic and literary community that launched some of Mexico’s most influential contemporary artists, Tejada recollects his experiences with Francis Alÿs, Cuauhtémoc Medina, Olivier Debroise, Thomas Glassford, and Curare: Espacio crítico para las artes, as well as Silvia Gruner, Gabriel Orozco, La Quiñonera, and Pablo Vargas-Lugo, among others; the environment in which he began his artistic practice.
